2007 Aquarius Horoscope

Aquarius' two key planets are rule-bound Saturn and rebellious Uranus. This year, as fast as Saturn can place obstacles in your path, Uranus comes to the rescue with sudden breakthroughs that allow you to move your life in a successful direction. When Saturn was in your sign from 1991 through 1993, you undertook the task of putting your life on track. Now, half a Saturn cycle later, Aquarius can look back at the choices you made in the early 1990s to reevaluate your current accomplishments and defeats. The garden you planted has grown, but you must work hard during the harvest just to keep up with all the chores.

Chiron the Wounded Healer continues to move through Aquarius this year. Although Chiron can remind you of your physical mortality, raise a variety of health issues, and stir up memories of an emotional trauma, it also provides a tremendous potential for healing the body, mind and spirit.When fortunate Jupiter sextiles Chiron on May 30 and September 7, you have the wisdom to make changes in your life that can bring you closer to happiness. You can also be an important mentor to someone who needs your guidance.

Perhaps the most important astrological event this year is the long-lasting opposition between serious Saturn, now moving through your 7th House of Partnerships, and dreamy Neptune, halfway through its fourteen-year journey through Aquarius. This sometimes enlightening and sometimes discouraging opposition began last summer as tensions surfaced between your fantasies and the realities of your everyday life. And although Jupiter's trine to Saturn throughout the year can add stability to your individual relationships and your interactions with the community, Neptune's dissipating action thwarts Saturn's attempt to crystallize your dreams, especially around February 28 and June 25. You struggle to understand what is important versus what is not, while Neptune puts a confusing soft focus on your lens of life. Your most concrete goals remain just out of reach until July, when this aspect begins to wane. Instead of setting yourself up for disappointment by building your foundation on shaky ground, perhaps wait until later in the year to make the most significant decisions.

Meanwhile, unpredictable Uranus in your 2nd House of Self-Worth forms three squares -- on Jan. 22, May 10, and Oct. 9 -- with optimistic Jupiter, now in your 11th House of Friends, Hopes and Wishes. These squares can surprise you with good news as well as bad, with respect to your bank account and also relative to your own core values. The socially oriented 11th House is the home base of Aquarius' chart; Jupiter's presence here throughout 2007 expands your connection to your community while increasing the benefits you receive from being part of a larger group. Hopeful Jupiter's squares with brilliant Uranus elevate your spirit, increase your self-confidence, and show you ways to overcome the sometimes repressive heaviness of Saturn.
