Professional obligations can weigh heavily through May 20 as the willful Sun is in your 10th House of Public Responsibility. This can, though, earn you some approval if you're able to consistently show up and perform as expected. There's no need to be flashy or take risks, as the Sun in earthy Taurus gets you points for sticking to the basics and managing them without complications.
You might have to deal with a stubborn boss whose ideas seem totally out of date to you. Stabilizing Saturn's harmonious connection to the Sun on May 5 makes that a good time for organization and dealing with an authority figure. However, note that communicative Mercury will be moving backwards (retrograde) in your 10th House of Career for most of the month. This makes it especially important to avoid overburdening yourself on the job. If a task needs to be redone, try not to be resentful about it since Mercury retrograde periods often require us to take steps backward before moving ahead. Promises made to you could be rescinded or their fulfillment delayed. These could, naturally, cause you to reconsider your commitment to your job or field of work. It's not the time to make a sudden move, as temporary solutions are probably the most you can hope for.
Fantasy or deception may be strong around May 16 so take what you hear with a grain of salt instead of buying into an amazing idea that may well be too good to be true. The Sun's shift into Gemini on May 20 should reduce stress as colleagues and allies may be willing to share your burden or show you easier ways to meet your responsibilities.
