This month begins idyllically as lovely Venus -- now at home in her own sign of sensual Taurus -- forms a comfortable Grand Earth Trine with Saturn in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn on May 1. It's a rare event when innocent Venus can hook up with these two tough characters in such a positive manner, giving you the ability to stabilize intense feelings and to sustain something worth preserving. But your key planet, Mercury, leaps into its other favorite sign, dualistic Gemini, on May 2, setting the stage for the next couple of months when you will be forced to look at everything in two ways. While Mercury is in noisy Gemini, all information contributes to your widening perspective. Choosing between a small amount of precise information and an overload can present a dilemma as you communicate with others throughout the month.

May 9-12: Invisible Friends
Energetic Mars is very hot as it enters shining Leo in your hidden 12th House on May 9, but the fires of inspiration may dwell within your imagination, rather than burning brightly on stage for everyone to see. Supportive aspects from the Sun to optimistic Jupiter and surprising Uranus on May 12, along with the Moon's return to your own sign, grant you the emotional support you need, especially when dealing with those who may be less committed than you.

May 18-20: No Quick Answers
You could feel confident enough to express unconventional feelings as loving Venus harmonizes with optimistic Jupiter and radical Uranus on May 18. But the passionate Scorpio Full Moon on May 19 makes it nearly impossible to maintain good judgment about your irrational needs. You may feel frustrated when Venus's square to fuzzy Neptune on May 20 places practical answers just out of reach, causing you to lose your rhythm as you try to go about the business of your day.
