Moon in Libra -- With Bush's sixth sense regarding what other people need or want, he seems to know just how to please, the right gesture or word to disarm them and put them at ease. He possesses a certain finesse, graciousness, and agreeableness of manner which has served him well in the past. When challenged or under stress, he is apt to depend on his personal charm and appeal and the kindly feeling he evokes in others, to pull him through.
Leo Rising -- The desires to be a shining star and to stand out as an individual color all of Bush's interactions with the world. At best, this motivates him to excel, to achieve at the highest level possible for him and to be a bighearted, generous, magnanimous, and honorable person. He carries the qualities of the archetypal ruler. He is King of his realm. If he expresses the lower side of this energy, however, the picture is much less lovely. Bush can be terribly narcissistic, self-centered, excessively concerned with being impressive, respected and admired. He does not admit his mistakes, is domineering and cannot let people get too close to him lest they discover he is not as great as he would like them to believe. Bush is either overly self-conscious or he has to put himself forward and be seen and heard on all occasions. His soul-function does involve leadership, or being "out there" on the stage of life in a significant way. He can be even more effective and fulfilled in this if he stays focused on giving from his heart instead of his ego.

Mercury Conjunct Pluto -- Bush may find himself falling into a habit of mind that is suspicious, paranoid, cynical, or preoccupied with the dark underside of life, and this may skew his entire outlook. (He may also use his considerable insight, persuasiveness, and mental power to try to manipulate others' thoughts and actions which would inevitably bring negative karmic results.) Verbally, Bush can be quite cutting and hurtful. At its worst this aspect would be expressed in a Machiavellian type of mind, utilizing his keen perception to manipulate and dominate others.
