Post-Graduation by Sign: Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces

Navigating the real world with astrology

Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22)
Libras often have a hard time reconciling your own dreams and desires with what others want you to be or accomplish. A great way for you to discover what would fulfill you the most would be to spend some time with a career counselor after graduation. Otherwise, you might find yourself stuck in a position that isn't what you really want down the road just out of loyalty or a sense of responsibility.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21)
Scorpios are driven, focused and do everything at about 110%. Although it will be hard for you Scorpios to take it down a notch, the best thing you can do after four solid years of hard work is to a take a break and relax. Not only will this keep you from burning out too early, it also means that when it comes time to start going on job interviews, you won't be in hyper-intensity mode, which could scare off potential employers.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21)
Many a Sagittarius has said upon graduating from college, "There's a big world out there -- how do I possibly decide where to go?" The good thing is, Sagittarians don't have to decide right away. You'd benefit from a cross-country road trip or backpacking across Europe -- not only will it give a chance to have an adventure, but it may help you find a place that feels like home, which is no easy task for your wandering nature.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19)
Rare is the ambitious Goat who graduates from college without a career path all mapped out. You Caps are most likely to finish college with an eye to grad school, chances are for an MBA. While being so focused is a good thing, so is really enjoying your early 20s. Capricorns would benefit from taking the summer before graduate school to just go wild and party -- you'll have few opportunities for such unbridled fun in the future.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18)
This sign doesn't want to jump right into a boring 9-5 job. You Aquarians want to go interesting places, meet interesting people and make a difference. Spending some time as a volunteer in the Peace Corps or going abroad to teach English would give you the chance to do something different, while also making connections that could lead to career opportunities down the road.

Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20)
You Fish tend to be most productive when you're working alone, but that isn't always an option when you're first entering the workforce. If you take some time out to work on your people skills after college, you'll move up the corporate ladder that much faster once you start climbing it. Public-speaking classes and interpersonal communication workshops would be great tools to make Pisces ready to be part of a team.
