Love's Elusive Balancing Act

Love may be in the air, but you will need to work extra hard for the goodies this spring, as fiery Mars runs into an opposition with sobering Saturn on March 22. Your impulses receive an immediate reality check that may tell you to cool your heels. Luckily, if you get the message right and take it to heart, everything could change pretty quickly as Mars forms a supportive sextile with joyous Jupiter on March 23. Still, it may be difficult to know what to do when Mars joins nebulous Neptune on March 25, making your dreams seem real. Your love life becomes more exciting by March 31 as loving Venus in sensual Taurus receives a wake-up call from electric Uranus. Your feelings are then reined back in as romantic Venus receives the cold shoulder from Saturn on April 2, prompting you to construct emotional boundaries while you reevaluate your relationship needs.

Indulgence May Bring Trouble

Emotional warmth returns as a supportive Grand Trine on April 8-9 shows you how to recapture the love you thought was slipping away. Love's landscape shifts when sweet Venus enters Gemini on April 11 to show you a variety of attractive possibilities, possibly making you less certain about a current relationship. The impulsive Aries New Moon on April 17 is trine passionate Pluto, giving you a deep certainty about your needs and showing you how to get what you want. You may hold yourself back at first, but the excitement builds as the cosmic lovers, Venus and Mars, cross swords with each other on April 23 and then involve wild Uranus along with indulgent Jupiter through April 30. Impulsive actions will likely stir up trouble, even if you are rewarded with some memorable experiences along the way.

New Thrills Await You

In early May, a long-lasting trine between expansive Jupiter and contractive Saturn -- exact on May 5 -- can help you to find that elusive balance in a current relationship or as you evaluate a new one. Feelings intensify as Venus opposes domineering Pluto on May 6 and then enters emotionally sensitive Cancer on May 8. Even if you decide to wait for a better time to express yourself, Jupiter's dynamic square to erratic Uranus on May 10 suggests you won't be able to hold off any longer. Go ahead and share your feelings, but keep in mind that the intense Mars-Pluto square on May 13, followed by Mars's entry into independent Aries on May 15, could lead you to commit too much too fast. Thankfully, things become easier around May 21 when the Sun enters light and flirty Gemini. An exciting Venus-Uranus trine on May 25 can put the thrill back into a stagnant relationship or can bring new love into your life. Communication becomes quite intense as Mercury opposes Pluto on May 27 and whatever is not put into words now could remain your little secret.

Time to Get Serious

An exuberant trine between action-hero Mars and confident Jupiter on June 4 encourages you to be the life of the party. This outgoing expression increases as Venus moves into dramatic Leo on June 5. You are likely to over-commit and overindulge during this phase that lasts through June 10. A Mars-Saturn trine on June 11, though, requires you to get serious about making a relationship work. This isn't about passion; it's about efficiency. Mercury slows down to begin its retrograde phase on June 15, initiating a three-week period when you look at recent decisions that you've made and reevaluate them. Keep in mind that extreme emotional highs and lows can be exhilarating, but exhausting. Temper your feelings with common sense to make your love life calmer and to help you sustain equilibrium over a longer period of time.
