Hollywood's ready to roll out another spate of summer movies. As usual, there are lots of films to choose from, but who has the time -- or money -- to see them all? If you'd like to narrow the playing field a bit, check out the following recommendations.

Aries Movies (March 21 to April 19)
Rams have a need for speed, which makes 'Cars' a natural choice for this sign. An animated film that's fun for the whole family, 'Cars' is the story of a rookie race car that embarks on a cross-country odyssey to win the Piston Cup Championship, featuring the voices of Paul Newman, Owen Wilson and George Carlin.

Nobody admires heroics like brave Aries. Director Oliver Stone's World Trade Center seems tailor-made for this sign. Starring Nicholas Cage and Michael Pena, it's the true story of two Port Authority cops who were rescued from the rubble of the World Trade Center after trying to help civilians escape the terrorist attack.

The Ram is famous for coming up with inventive solutions to stubborn problems. That's what makes 'Accepted' the perfect summer movie for this sign. After getting rejected from eight colleges, a high school kid opens his own university. Soon, the college gains growing popularity among other college rejects. Starring Lewis Black as the school's dean, this looks like a promising effort from freshman director Steve Pink, who wrote the screenplays to 'High Fidelity' and 'Grosse Pointe Blank.'

Taurus Movies (April 20 to May 20)
If there's one movie the Bull should see this summer, it's 'Barnyard.' It's the computer-animated story of a lighthearted cow that likes singing, dancing and playing practical jokes -- until his fellow animals are jeopardized by his hijinks. Featuring the voices of Kevin James, Courteney Cox, Sam Elliott and Danny Glover, this movie is good grazing ground for the whole family.

Sedentary Taurus loathes road trips. That's why 'Little Miss Sunshine' is sure to win favor with this sign. It's the story of a dysfunctional family who treks across country so that their little girl can enter the Little Miss Sunshine beauty pageant. Sound like a bad idea? Well, the Bull does too, and will constantly chortle, "I told you so!" through this quirky comedy, starring Alan Arkin, Steve Carrell, Toni Collette and Greg Kinnear.

Summer affords The Bull a welcome opportunity to kick back, relax and let the good times roll. No summer movie best embodies this principle than 'Beer League,' the tale of an out-of-work slacker who rallies his softball teammates to pick up their game in order to stay in their local league. 'Beer League' marks the welcome return of Ralph "Karate Kid" Macchio to the silver screen.

Gemini Movies (May 21 to June 20)
Gemini appreciates movies that are lightning-paced and action-packed. Count on 'Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift' to win big points with this sign. The movie centers on Japanese drift racing, a perilous new sport that leaves drag racing in the dust.

The Twins also love a good story, making 'The Heart of the Game' a must-see for this sign. It's a documentary about a troubled girl struggling to keep her place on a championship high school basketball team. Narrated by Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, this looks like it could be one of the best movies of the season, if not the entire year.

For any Gemini who enjoys crossword puzzles -- and that includes the majority of them -- 'Wordplay' is certainly worth a viewing. It documents the life of New York Times puzzle editor Will Shortz, and features interviews with famous crossword addicts like Bill Clinton, Bob Dole, Jon Stewart and Ken Burns.

Cancer Movies (June 21 to July 22)
Sensitive Cancer remembers what it's like to be a kid, making 'Pathfinder' the perfect summer movie for this sign. It's the story of a Viking ship that leaves a young boy behind after crashing on the eastern shore of North America. Years after being raised by Native Americans, the young hero prepares to roll back the death and destruction wrought by his ancestors.

Family is everything to the domestic Crab, which is probably why 'Only Human' will strike a deep chord with this sign. A romantic comedy about a Jewish woman introducing her Palestinian lover to her family for the first time, the buzz on this movie suggests it will be a sleeper hit. Don't let the subtitles scare you away.

For Cancers with a darker sensibility, 'Shadowboxer' might be a worthy ticket. It's the story of a mother-and-stepson hit team who receive a tough assignment just as Ma is dying of cancer. Starring the incomparable Helen Mirren, this edgy suspense movie is bound to resonate with Crabs struggling with mom issues.

Leo Movies (July 23 to Aug. 22)
The Lion craves movies filled with glitz and glamour. If any film fits such a bill this summer, it's 'Miami Vice.' Starring Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell, it's the story of two undercover cops working to solve three murders in the sultry, sexy city of Miami. Looks promising, especially since talented Michael Mann, creator of the TV series, directs.

Anyone who knows a Leo understands that this sign has got to be number one. That's why 'Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby' will score with Lions everywhere. Will Ferrell's latest comedy tells the story of stock car racing star Ricky Bobby whose "win no matter what" philosophy makes him a national superstar. Featuring John C. Reilly as Ferrell's sidekick, this is one picture that will make Leo purr with pleasure.

Lions are natural performers who enjoy stories about the entertainment world. 'Idlewild' is just such a film, albeit an unconventional one. Set in a 1930s southern speakeasy, it's a musical that tells the story of a singer and piano player struggling to perform despite the best efforts of a bunch of gangsters who want to take over their club. This film stars OutKast members Andre Benjamin and Antwan Andre Patton, as well as Terrence Howard, Patti LaBelle and Ving Rhames.

Virgo Movies (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22)
Shy Virgo loves it when people underestimate their considerable talents. That's probably why 'My Super Ex-Girlfriend' will make a hit with this modest sign. Starring Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson, it's a comedy about a guy who tries breaking up with his girlfriend, who also happens to be a butt-kicking superhero. A great date movie … unless your date happens to be Ethan Hawke.

If there's anybody who enjoys a smart filmmaker, it's discerning Virgo. Happily, one of the most intelligent filmmakers in cinematic history is releasing a movie this summer: Robert Altman. 'A Prairie Home Companion' is the story of a radio variety show that manages to stay afloat throughout the golden age of television. As with most Altman movies, this picture features a constellation of talented actors, including Meryl Streep, Lily Tomlin, Kevin Kline and Tommy Lee Jones.

Born under the sign of service, Virgo knows all too well what it's like to be overlooked for a job well done. That's what makes 'Clerks II' the must-see summer movie for this sign. Facing the imminent closure of the Quick Stop, Dante (Brian O'Halloran) and Randall (Jeff Anderson) are forced to look for new jobs. Now that they're in their thirties, though, their resumes could use some padding. This is a welcome sequel to director Kevin Smith's first comedy sleeper.
