Celebrity Sagittarius John F. Kennedy Jr. Profile - Zodiac Central Sagittarius

John F. Kennedy, Jr.: Sagittarius Just Passing Through

By Jeff Jawer

John F. Kennedy, Jr. was gifted with charm, movie star good looks and the privileges of wealth and fame, but failed to distinguish himself in the public eye. Perhaps, as a adventurous Sagittarius with the Moon in independent Aquarius, his purpose was to escape the expectations of others and live freely in his own way.

John F. Kennedy, Jr. was a charming and wealthy young man with a public life tragically marked by death. The image of him as a small child holding a flag at his father's funeral touched the hearts of millions. The fatal airplane accident that ended his life seemed to continue the "Kennedy curse" that included both the assassination of his father and his uncle Robert Kennedy. In between, though, was the life of a buoyant and handsome, if not brilliant, son of privilege who never approached the status of either of his famous parents or made a major mark in his own name. He was born on November 25, 1960 at 12:22 a.m. in Washington, DC, just after his father won the presidential election. John was a Sagittarius with an Aquarius Moon, an outgoing combination known for friendliness and a sense of adventure. Although he was linked in the press with many famous women, he was generally protected from unfavorable publicity. It may have been due to respect for his parents, but it's just not easy to dislike such an outgoing and idealistic individual. Sagittarians tend to be generous, as they're more interested in having experiences than piling up material goods. John's taste for outdoor sports followed the Kennedy family tradition that placed a high value on physical activity.

Individuals with their Moon in Aquarius are open to all different kinds of people. They break through boundaries of class to connect with everyone. John may have been an American prince, but he tried to be one of the guys rather than the star of the show. He lacked the razor sharp mind of his father and the competitive streak for which the Kennedys were known. His Mercury, the planet of intellect, was in sensitive Scorpio and conjunct idealistic, but fuzzy Neptune. This may describe a lack of mental focus or an orientation towards fantasy. John's Mars, the warrior planet, was in caring and cautious Cancer, dulling the hard edge that drove his father and uncles to political prominence. Independent Uranus in a tense 90-degree square to his Sun (a father symbol) led him on a very different path than the late president. He also was born with Pluto -- the planet of death and rebirth -- square the Sun, perhaps showing an inherent fatalism based on his early childhood experiences, as well as an inner awareness that like a traveling Sagittarius, he was only moving through this world briefly and had little need to leave a permanent mark.
