Jimmy Fallon's Virgo Sun reflects the modesty he shows on television and in films. But he's not just a simple guy playing out his adolescent fantasies before the camera. He's a brilliant comedian whose easygoing image masks the mayhem set off by his explosive remarks.

Jimmy Fallon is another in the long line of 'Saturday Night Live' comedians who has transferred his success on television to the big screen. At first glance it can be hard to imagine how this very regular seeming guy earned star billing alongside a movie star like dreamy Drew Barrymore. Jimmy looks like a teenager who would be more at home wearing a paper hat and asking, "Do you want fries with your order, sir?" than saying, "Live from New York, it's Saturday night." There's not an ounce of pretension in his persona, but that's just the setup for his jokes. Sweet on the outside, but oh so tart on the inside, he can cut as sharply as Dennis Miller, but always seeming more like a sweetie than a cynic.
Born September 19, 1974 in Brooklyn, Jimmy Fallon is a Virgo, the sign of the hard working, down-to-earth average Joe. His visible insecurities and flaws make him accessible to the audience, reeling us in with his sly smile and "aw shucks" attitude before surprising us with a pithy punch line. Virgos are often modest and self-critical, so his stage persona is probably very close to the real Jimmy Fallon, and like many of his sign, he's gifted with a very sharp mind. Mercury, the planet of intellect, was in usually polite Libra in Jimmy's birth chart, but it's conjunct wild and crazy Uranus, which is bound to fill his head with strange ideas. This Mercury-Uranus combination gives him an edgy, inventive mental energy. It shocks people with unexpected angles of perception that crack the façade of ordinary thinking and tickle audiences with unconventional insights.

There's real joy in Jimmy's chart, of course. That boyish grin is no act, but a reflection of his great capacity for fun. Venus, the pleasure planet, was in Virgo in his chart, which tends to focus more on work than play. But jolly Jupiter, the planet of optimism, was directly opposite Venus when he was born, expanding his capacity for delight. Still, this sweetness is countered by the darker tone of his Moon in Scorpio. The earth's satellite symbolizes emotions and instincts, and Scorpio is the intense and mysterious water sign that plumbs life's dark mysteries. Jimmy instinctively looks in places where others fear to tread. He may be famous for breaking character with laughter on SNL, but anyone with a Scorpio Moon needs to be taken seriously. He's not just a comedian -- he's a subversive out to undermine our view of the world by puncturing the pompous, and mocking mainstream heroes. He plays the fool when, in fact, he is a wily rebel, an everyman out to take down the big guys while making us laugh.
