The world's leading female action star, mother of six and activist, Angelina Jolie might want to take a break from her overheated schedule this year -- but that's probably not going to happen. Energetic Jupiter, the planet of expansion and opportunity, entered Aquarius on January 5 and will form supportive, creative and expressive aspects to her Aries Moon and Gemini Sun in early March that don't look anything like a slowdown.

With her birth Moon of habit joined by dynamic Mars and Jupiter in her natal chart, Angie is just not the kind of person who is very good at sitting still. This significant trio falls in her 9th House of Faraway Places, so her roving lifestyle with homes in France, New Orleans and California isn't about to stop. She might, in fact, even be looking for yet another residence in 2009. Education is another theme of the 9th house, so the positive push from Jupiter should increase her interest in learning. Broadening her own mind is possible, although supporting schools is more likely. The innovative characteristics of Aries and Aquarius might even stir her to contribute to a very different kind of educational institution. Clearly, with a house full of small children, school will become a larger part of her life.

Generous Jupiter is moving through Angelina's 7th House of Partnership, which speaks well of her relationships, both personal and professional. This encourages continuing advances in her union with Brad Pitt, as well as new alliances that could broaden the impact of her charitable activities.



Mercury is associated with intellect and communication and is the ruling planet of Angelina's Gemini Sun. The speedy messenger planet has been under heavy fire from explosive Uranus and will receive one more shot across the bow in March. This can produce surprising news and an unexpected change of mind.

Strict Saturn, now in Virgo, makes a stressful square to her Mercury in late August that can delay projects and slow her down physically. This is a time when simplicity and concentrated effort may be required to reduce the number of activities on her schedule. Late March shows another potentially stressful influence with Angelina's Progressed Moon (current mood and circumstances) in a tense relationship with her natal Pluto. Secrets may surface that are less than flattering, yet this can provide motivation for her to reduce the range of her activities to focus on the most important ones.

In early December she has a Progressed New Moon that marks the beginning of a major new 28-year cycle in her life. This significant event occurs in the domestically inclined sign of Cancer, reinforcing her interest in housing and the care and safety of mothers and children.
