Hard on the heels of the super-successful 'Twilight' books and movie, HBO rolled out the series 'True Blood,' where we can soak up the thick neo-gothic atmosphere of Louisiana first portrayed in 'The Southern Vampire Mysteries' novels written by Charlaine Harris. Anna Paquin plays the lead role of psychic waitress Sookie Stackhouse who, naturally, falls in love with a vampire. British actor Stephen Moyer, born October 11, 1969, plays the charming biter, Bill Compton.
