Brad Pitt In 2009

An astrological forecast for the Sagittarius superstar

Brad Pitt was born December 18, 1963 at 6:31 am in Shawnee, Oklahoma with his Sun and Ascendant in outgoing Sagittarius. Yet beyond the big smile of his optimistic Sun sign there are signals that he is a rather serious man. He has four planets in responsible Capricorn and each was transited by expansive Jupiter in 2008. It is hard to imagine that Brad Pitt will have a more momentous year (although he might surprise us). He and Angelina Jolie added twins to the family, now up to eight, including their six children. The first houses of Brad's rebuilding project in New Orleans were completed and two of his movies made their debut. He was part of the ensemble cast in the Coen Brothers' film 'Burn After Reading' and played the lead in 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.' The latter, adapted from an F. Scott Fitzgerald short story, tells the tale of a baby born as an old man who becomes younger throughout his life. Capricorn is sometimes described as a sign that starts life old and grows more youthful with age.

2009 should be eventful for Brad as one of the world's most visible men is not about to disappear from view. It is expected that he will take on an even more active role in charitable activities. Saturn, the planet of commitment and practicality, will cross the top of his chart in early October, which often marks a professional change. Since Brad is unlikely to give up his career as an actor, it's possible that this transit signals a deeper commitment to his charitable work. His Progressed Moon will cross this point, known as the Midheaven or 10th House cusp, in January, setting the stage for the additional responsibilities that will follow in the fall. This part of the chart also symbolizes parenthood so perhaps Brad and Angelina will adopt another child this year.

There are, as well, indications of major surprises in Brad Pitt's life in 2009. Uranus, the planet of the unexpected, makes tense squares to his Sun in May and August and in January 2010. These could mark significant shifts in his life, maybe even shocking the public. It is possible that the restlessness of Brad's Sagittarian Sun touched by Uranus will provoke him to radically alter the course of his life. This could, though, indicate circumstances beyond his control that will turn him in a new direction. Either way, we may look at quite differently by the end of 2009 than we do now.
