Lindsay Lohan is a Cancer with the Moon in Taurus, a pair better known for comfort and safety than movies and tabloids. But Lindsay’s Venus, the planet of the arts, is in dramatic and creative Leo, which fires up her up in front of the camera and always grabs our attention.
Lindsay Lohan is the best known actress of her generation. She began modeling and acting in commercials at the age of three, has been a successful recording artist, and seems to be in the tabloids almost every day. A quick look at her astrological chart suggests, though, that she’s more like the girl next door than one of our culture’s biggest media stars. Lindsay was born on July 2, 1986 in Cold Spring Harbor, New York. Her Sun was in the traditionally careful, conservative and family-oriented sign of Cancer. Many stories have been written about Lindsay’s relationship with her parents and siblings, most of which present her as deeply involved and caring individual, which fits her sign’s profile. The problems she has had with her father are shown by an opposition from aggressive Mars to her Cancer Sun. The Sun often indicates one’s relationship with dad, so its tense connection to the planet of fighting expresses her situation all too well. But Lindsay’s strong Mars in Capricorn also shows her drive and ambition. The sensitive Cancer girl has been pushed in front of the camera her whole life, and while clearly she was made for fame, it’s likely that she has decidedly mixed feelings about it. If her excessive partying does damage her career, it may be due to the pressure of pushing herself so hard for so many years.

This flashy planet, though, clashes with hardworking Mars in Capricorn, a pairing that can make relationships more complicated. Venus and Mars are the lovers, so a tense relationship between them in two strong-willed signs probably makes Lindsay a demanding partner. Fortunately, she has inventive, original Uranus in a positive 120-degree trine with her Venus in Leo. This is an aspect of the brilliant artist, a rare talent, and the source of excitement that Lindsay brings to every part she plays. The combination of her radiant Venus and her down home Cancer Sun and Taurus Moon makes her both comfortable and exciting, which is probably what makes her a superstar.
