star, has continued to rise week after week despite the fact that his vocals have been, to steal a word from judge Simon Cowell's dictionary, "dreadful."
So why are people voting for him week after week? Some say the Indian-American population is rallying around him because 'Idol' has never had an Indian contestant before. Some blame Howard Stern for urging his fans to vote for him (with more than a little help from VoteForTheWorst.com) in order to ruin the show. Still others say rabid teenaged girls are voting because they find him cute. The answer is probably a combination of all three, but Numerology tells a story about Sanjaya as well.
